- Welcome to Maryville Friends Connection -

MFC began with a dream and a vision that differed from what we were used to. We wanted more than just to be a group that gets together for events. We wanted to create a group that not only provided opportunities for people to make friends, but also would support, nurture, and strengthen those friendships. We saw an incredible need in the Maryville and surrounding areas for people that wanted ways to meet and genuinely connect with friends. Each of the founding members on the Board of Directors of MFC moved here without knowing anyone, and experienced the loneliness and frustrations of being here without family and friends, so we wanted to change the norm, and create a way to give back to the community we have come to love. Our vision became a mission, and that mission is first and foremost, to provide a safe relational environment where friendships can be established, encouraged, nurtured, and strengthened. Secondly, is to give back to our community at large through acts of kindness and humanitarian service, and by supporting our locally owned businesses and establishments.

We have created MFC as a 501(c)(7) nonprofit corporation. This is to provide 100% transparency to it's members, as well as by providing a documented operating structure for future sustainability. There is now complete confidence that 100% of all proceeds brought in at events and through donations go directly back into MFC. No Director, host, admin, etc. can receive a dime in compensation, we function 100% as volunteers for you, the members.

Our goal is to provide you with the best event and sports experiences possible, and seek to improve them through a process of review and revision after each function. We welcome your input, comments, criticisms, and suggestions with open arms. We want each of you to feel that you can approach us and voice your feelings without judgement or dismissal. We truly do care about this organization, as well as each of you individually, so let's work together to build an amazing group that will reach out and meet the needs of the communities around us.
